Now we are not sure about the historical accuracy of some of these symbols as to us the ships look more like Viking ships, the Spartans fought on land and the catapult that we see on the reels looks more modern. That being said Pragmatic Play is of course very established at making slots in this (and many other genres) so we cannot say that Shield of Sparta looks or sounds bad because it definitely does not.

Gameplay wise we gave the demo quite a few spins when we wrote this review prior to the slot being released by Pragmatic Play and while it does have a decent free spins round with Magnetic Bonus symbols overall we feel that there just is not enough here to make this a very popular Pragmatic Play slot.
